Recently in Google I/O event, Google announced a new design system called “Material Design” that aims to establish a universal design language and unify the experience for all devices. I’m really fascinated with the down to the finest details of the design system. And for the up and coming OS, Google will also updating their official Roboto font, and it also introduces the new Roboto Condensed font.

The new Roboto font family maintains the characteristics, but with small enhancement to some characters to make it a more professional, polished typeface.
